There was always place for spontaneity in my life and this is something that I really like. But when the number of tasks rises, it’s not easy to find time to drop in at the favorite coffee house and enjoy the aromatic coffee in your own company. Honestly I like sitting in public places alone and observing people, the way they behave, talk, eat…  But I wanted to say about quite a different thing.

To be or not to be… There are so many questions to answer and so many decisions to take.. Choices are everywhere, every day we have to choose something. Is it right or wrong, is it what we want? ..

Freedom can’t be stopped.

The everlasting question what is art has many answers and every artist and professional from the art wold has her/his own criteria of evaluating of artworks. I consider art to be it if it appeals at least to one person.

The town where I was born, Rakhiv is a small nice town that is situated in western Ukraine and is surrounded by beautiful Carpathian mountains. It´s the place where different cultures interlaced and created a new and interesting amalgamation of traditions and customs. The folks who live here are called hutzuls and my family belong to this ethnic group too. So, I´m a hutzul and hutzuls are known for their love for mountains. Mountains are our home, our fortress.

..I didn’t use to give birthday presents to myself. But this year I did it for the first time. That’s pretty special present and normal guy won’t wish that, but I’m an artist, so I can’t be normal 🙂 Well curious what it was? – my solo exhibition “PIANO” in Art na Mur Gallery, Ivano-Frankivsk.

We all belong to different activity types, “owls” and “larks”. I can call myself a 100% “owl”. Ordinary social life rules make from owls something in between. I can work till early in the morning, but let me sleep till the noon (in the perfect case). I don´t want to imagine how I would feel if I had to wake up really early in the morning! BUT..
